Country girl Lin Xin Mei has a gifted voice and aims to be a songbird. However, her reams seems impossible as she has a phobia to perform in front of the crowd. Due to one fortunate encounter, Xin Mei meets a well-known producer, Adrian. It has hit her journey to be a songbird ever since.
Away from her hometown, Xin Mei starts to pursue her dreams in the city. Although she encounters a chain of challenges, the dribs and drabs in the studio have made a abulous life for her. In the same time, she has met her Mr.Right - Jun Hao who is wealthy and talented. Yet, their relationship was hindered for heaps of barriers.
Jun Hao's girl friend Yuki treats Xin Mei as an enemy and finds all ways to defeat her. It gets worse when Jun Hao breaks up with her, and this makes Yuki hate Xin Mei even more.
