Leng Lie comes from a well-off family and is a Cordon Bleu trained chef who is widely acclaimed for his nearly perfect cuisine. He is admired Internationally by women and chefs as a representative of the highest standards. Though in Leng Lie's heart there is a regret from a Valentines Day two years in the past, as singer/songwriter Guan Xiao Shu suddenly hit the big time. Xiao Shu and Leng Lie grew up together as close friends until one day, Valentine's Day, Leng Lie decided to confess his feelings. Unfortunately, an unexpected accident took place that day. Xiao Shu was victim of a car accident which stole her eyesight. Feeling responsible, Leng Lie decided to take care of Xiao Shu's future, but not wanting a love based on remorse, Xiao Shu rejected him.

One day Xiao Shu entered the "Fried Rice with Egg" diner. The simple and plain fried rice she ate there had an odd effect on her. She felt relaxed and carefree. Odder still, the cook who prepared the meal could only cook eggs and rice. Michelin was new and a rather bumbling chef. Though Michelin possesed a latent talent for cooking he only relied on the skills his father had passed on to him. With this, he had earned himself a reputation and an income in the vilage by producing 100 plates of fried rice with egg each day. Though, upon meeting Xiao Shi the many flavors of food and love opened up to him. Likewise, Michelin's frank nature gives Xiao Shu the ability to cultivate an independent lifestyle. All the while, Leng Lie has stayed by Xiao Shu's side secretly aiding her, witnessing the growing feelings between Xiao Shu and Michelin.

In a school where academic reigns supreme and sports are relegated to a dusty corner of the campus, Li Ying vows to revive the basketball team by volunteering to be the head coach. Her first member is Yuan Da Ying, a country boy who is passionate for basketball but has no skill. Their recruitment goes into high gear when Dong Fang Xiang, a legendary basketball player, transfers to their school.

Around the same time, Yuan Da Ying falls for Zhan Jie Er, a scholarship student who reminds him of his childhood friend. Things are complicated by the fact her family works for Dong Fang Xiang, who she also grew up with. Their encounter may just rewrite the school's basketball history.

Drama ni mengisahkan tentang kehidupan anak muda masa kini. Cerita ini bermula dengan kisah Yuan Da Ying (Show Luo) yang amat berminat dengan sukan bola keranjang. Namun begitu, minatnya itu dihalang oleh neneknya. Sejak kecil, setiap kali diketahui neneknya bahawa Yuan Da Ying bermain bola keranjang, neneknya pasti akan memukulnya. Sehingga saat kematian neneknya , barulah Da Ying tahu bahawa neneknya dulu seorang pemain bola keranjang handalan. Neneknya meninggalkan sepucuk surat dan sejarah silamnya dalam sebuah kotak. Neneknya meminta Yuan Da ying supaya membawa sebiji bola bertemu dengan seorang rakan lama. Hal ini kerana, neneknya yakin bahawa rakannya itu pasti akan dapat membantu Da ying mencapai cita-cita. Dong Fang Xiang merupakan pemain handalan bola keranjang diperingkat universiti. Semua universiti mengalu-alukan kedatangannya. Tanpa membuang masa Da Ying berhijrah ke bandar dan melakukan segala yang disuruh oleh neneknya . Sejak dari itu , Da Ying berazam bersungguh-sungguh untuk menjadi pemain yang hebat.

Ketika di universiti Pi Li , Da Ying bertemu dengan Dong Fang Xiang yang juga baru sahaja berpindah ke universiti tersebut. Dan tidak lama kemudian seorang gadis bernama Zhan Jie Er. Maka bermulalah konflik cinta antara Da Ying, Jie Er dan Dong Fang Xiang. Namun cinta Jie Er hanya untuk Dong Fang Xiang. Walaupun hampa, Da Ying tetap menerima semua itu atas dasar persahabatan.

Matlamat pasukan serigala Pi Li adalah untuk memenangi perlawanan peringkat akhir. Namun banyak peristiwa yang tidak diingini berlaku seperti atuk dong Fang Xiang cuba mengambil alih Universiti Pi Li. Da Ying juga mengetahui bahawa atuk dong fang xiang musuh neneknya dan Na Ying (coach) telah jatuh sakit. Semua pasukan serigala Pi Li kelihatan berpecah akibat masalah tersebut. Namun semangat berpasukan tidak mudah runtuh. Di pengakhiran, Universiti Pi Li berjaya mengalahkan pasukan handalan atuk Dong Fang Xiang dan memenangi perlawanan akhir.
